Soy Radio Newsline

The American Soybean Association (ASA)  is seeking sponsorships for its weekly Soy Radio Newsline audio reports that highlight ASA’s farm and trade policy issues. This unique marketing opportunity provides sponsor recognition at the opening and closing of each audio report and supports greater awareness of ASA’s initiatives and accomplishments that benefit U.S. soybean growers and the industry. Sponsorship of Soy Radio Newsline promotes your brand to influential farmers and leaders in agriculture who place a high value on knowledge.

Reports are distributed nationally to members of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting for rebroadcast on local stations and regional networks, and are now conveniently available to growers via podcast. Typically, ASA distributes four audio reports each per month. Each report is promoted to an audience of 12,000 readers in ASA’s electronic Weekly Leader Letter, tweeted on ASA’s Twitter page, posted to ASA’s Facebook page, and archived on ASA’s website SoyGrowers.com.

ASA’s Soy Radio Newsline has a long history of providing the latest information about critical farm and trade policy issues that impact the U.S. soybean industry. Each interview is conducted and produced by ASA staff featuring comments from an ASA producer-leader or a spokesperson from industry or government.

Educational Podcasts

The American Soybean Association is seeking sponsorships for Educational Podcasts that provide growers with the latest information about soybean production. This unique marketing vehicle provides an opportunity for sponsors to distribute either a single (1) issues-oriented audio podcast, or a series of four (4) issues-oriented audio podcasts of up to six-minutes in length per podcast.

Each Educational Podcast is promoted to an audience of 12,000 readers in ASA’s electronic Weekly Leader Letter, syndicated via podcast, tweeted on ASA’s Twitter page, posted on ASA’s Facebook page, and archived on ASA’s website SoyGrowers.com. Topics and spokesperson should be geared to providing new information that will help growers improve farm profitability and/or enhance environmental stewardship.

Sponsor has the option to produce audio report(s) in MP3 format (Encoding Bitrate 128kbit, Stereo, Samplerate 44.1kHz) and supply file(s) to ASA, or ASA will conduct a telephone interview to record the audio and produce final audio for the sponsor.

Sponsor supplied reports are subject to ASA review to ensure contents deliver an appropriate educational message. Except for opening and closing sponsor recognition, the contents of these podcasts are not to be used to endorse specific products/brands. Sponsors are encouraged to provide a copy of the podcast script to ASA in advance of recording.
