Remember way back in spring when we introduced our newest project called “The Youth We Feed Can Lead,” taking place at Proximos Pasos School in Guatemala? If you don’t, be sure to check out this VIDEO to learn more about it. The project was designed to empower youth to become agents of change in their schools, families and communities by combining low-cost video production equipment and training with nutrition education to produce videos to be shared across the globe and educate thousands.

The result of this combination, along with WSF’s partnership with Guatemalan organization Mission Impact, students created youth-led videos that explored their new understanding of what nutrition is, personal stories of their health and family and stories of their community; including the benefits of soy and soy protein.

With that said, we’re excited to announce the release of these videos, as well as a project impact video, for your viewing! The video below shows a general overview of the project, including the impact it had on this school and community, and clips of the nutrition speakers that presented to the kids during the project.

Visit our YouTube page to see all of the student-led videos and two interviews of kids that were involved in the project to see what a difference can be made through the power of soy! We encourage you to share these videos (either from WSF Facebook, Twitter or directly from YouTube) so the nutrition education and understanding of the importance of soy protein in diets can be known everywhere!
