ASA/WISHH Concludes Nutrition, Aquaculture Project in Liberia

World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) Director, Africa Erica Morrow traveled to Liberia this week to help wrap up a five- year Multi-Year Aid Project (MYAP) in Liberia as a sub-contractor to Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OICI).

The project was funded by the United States Agency of International Development’s (USAID) Food for Peace office. WISHH’s components in the project focused on food processing, nutrition education and aquaculture.  The project has come to an end and Morrow, along with Regional Representative Noli Jocson and Super Gari Manager Denis Twinamatsiko, met with representatives of OICI to finish program activities and hand over equipment. While in Liberia, the team met with several organizations to talk about potential follow on activities in the country.
