The American Soybean Association/World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) is working to expand the presence of U.S. origin soybean products in West African markets.

WISHH Regional Director for Africa Josh Neiderman and West Africa consultant Mamadou Bousso visited with supply chain partner Alltech in Lagos, Nigeria in early May. The WISHH representatives held meetings with Alltech’s parent company Montizen, Ltd. and discussed the improved rhythm of defatted soy flour shipments purchased from CHS, Inc. WISHH also met with Bio Ingredients Ltd., an additional subsidiary of Montizen that supplies feed ingredients for animal nutrition.
