Become an ASA Recruiter
ASA recruiters are YOU – Actual soybean producers telling their story and demonstrating how ASA and your state soybean association are working on your behalf to protect your ability to farm and promoting new opportunities to increase your profitability.
ASA recruiters represent the best and brightest working in your industry. ASA recruiters volunteer their time because they know soybean producers need someone to watch their backs when policy regulations are being debated and created in Washington, D.C.

Putting You in a Blue Ridge Mountain State of Mind – Experience the Historic Biltmore

These recruiters are headed on a trip to the historic Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. for an exciting, fun-filled, four-days/three-nights at the Biltmore Estate, expenses paid.
They’ll explore the 8,000-acre Blue Ridge Mountain backyard and create memories to last a lifetime. Savor exceptional dining with the freshest ingredients from field to table. On this November 2015 trip, they’ll experience the wonder of Biltmore wreathed for the holidays. The celebration presents Christmas on a grand scale with more than 40 trees accented with miles of ribbon, garlands and lights.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2014 and concluding on Sept. 29, 2015, any recruiter who recruited 20 or more new members was eligible for a drawing to win a grand prize. The winner, Robert Nelsen will select a prize of his choice from five options.

ASA Recruiter Benefits
Recruiters earn points that can be redeemed for a variety of Gift Cards. Click here to Check your point balance and order Gift Cards with your points.
A minimum of three members must be recruited in a membership year before a recruiter can redeem reward points for the first time. (A recruiter must recruit three members in a fiscal year October – September to be considered “active.”) Once the minimum is reached, recruiters can redeem their points at any time for available items.
ASA maintains a formal point system to determine recruiter eligibility and ranking for incentives and recognition. Recruiter points should only be assigned by state and/or national membership staff when recruiters have made personal contact with and signed a new or renewed current or lapsed member through personal efforts, including, but not limited to, mailings, telephone, electronic media and face-to-face meetings. It is the responsibility of state and national membership staff to ensure the integrity and equality of this honor based system.
Points for the ASA Member Recruitment and Retention Program may only be earned for recruitment and retention activities conducted during fiscal year 2016 (Oct 1, 2015 – Sept 30, 2016). Points are determined utilizing the following formula:

|160||Recruit a 3-year member|
|500||Recruit a Lifetime member|
Redeeming Recruiter Points
Recruiters must redeem their points earned in fiscal year 2015 (Oct 1, 2014 – Sept 30, 2015) for recruiting by Dec 15, 2015 or the points will be forfeited.
Recruiters must redeem their points earned in fiscal year 2016 (Oct 1, 2015 – Sept 30, 2016) for recruiting by Dec 15, 2016 or the points will be forfeited.
Recognition at Commodity Classic
The top recruiter in each of the three state membership size levels will be recognized at the ASA Awards Banquet during the 2016 Commodity Classic in New Orleans, LA. These three recruiters will receive paid registrations and three-night hotel for Commodity Classic.
- Level 1 States: 1,000+ members
- Level 2 States: 300 to 999 members
- Level 3 States: 50 to 299 members

Recruiter Event at Commodity Classic
ASA salutes its top recruiters at Commodity Classic. Recruiters and guest are eligible to attend an exclusive ticketed event at Commodity Classic. Top recruiters will be recognized for their outstanding work in growing ASA membership. The event features a dinner and participants will have an opportunity play games and win gifts and prizes.
