Elaine Gillis farms soybeans and corn with her husband, Craig, in and around Dunkirk, Indiana. She has been on the American Soybean Association's board of directors since 2022.
Before joining the ASA board, she served nine years on the Indiana Soybean Alliance board of directors, including various leadership positions. Elaine is active with 4-H volunteer opportunities, the Purdue Ag Alumni trustee board, working closely alongside her husband on the farm and in their seed dealership, and at church.
In addition to working on the farm, Elaine owns and operates a women's clothing boutique. Elaine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Sales and Marketing. She and Craig have one son.
