Jordan Scott

Jordan Scott, a fifth-generation family farmer from Valley Springs, South Dakota, began serving on the American Soybean Association board of directors December 2021. He farms 1,400 acres of soybeans and corn alongside his father and former ASA president Kevin Scott.

Scott has been a director of the South Dakota Soybean Association since 2017 and served as the state president for two years before coming on the ASA board. He has served as a trustee on his local church board for over six years.

Scott is an avid golfer and baseball fan. He is also a licensed gemologist and enjoys watches and jewelry. Scott and his wife, Samantha, have two young sons who love being on the farm with dad and grandpa
