Nick Moody

Nick Moody, a farmer from Blackstone, Virginia, began serving on the American Soybean Association Board of Directors in December 2017. He farms 800 acres of soybeans, in addition to corn and winter small grains. He also backgrounds cattle during the winter.

Nick has been a member of the Virginia Soybean Association since 2012 and has served as president of the state association. He is a graduate of the ASA/DuPont Young Leader program. He has served on his county Farm Bureau board and as a state young farmer district representative for the Farm Bureau.

Nick has a bachelor's in crop soil and environmental sciences from Virginia Tech. His interests include hunting, skiing and Virginia Tech football.
