ASA farmer-leaders from the Biodiesel & Infrastructure Advocacy Team and Vice President Bill Gordon (MN) participated in a series of meetings on the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and biodiesel tax credit this week in Washington, D.C. Gordon, along with Advocacy Team Chairman Rob Shaffer (IL), Willard Jack (MS), Morey Hill (IA), Chris Hill (MN), Ken Boswell (NE) and Matt Stutzman (MI) met with USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue to reiterate the importance of biodiesel markets to soybean farmers and express appreciation for his ongoing efforts to address the damage being done by the RFS waivers granted by EPA.
