New Young Leaders Class Kicks Off in Iowa

The 35th class of American Soybean Association Corteva Agriscience™ Young Leaders began training with a focus on communications and innovation in Johnston, Iowa this week.

Young Leaders participated in DiSC and communications training, discussed CRISPR technology, consumer trends and other important soybean industry advancements.

ASA President John Heisdorffer and Vice President Davie Stephens provided an ASA overview and USB Treasurer Dan Farney reviewed the value of the checkoff and engagement of future agricultural leaders.  ASA Secretary Kevin Scott joined the program via teleconference for a panel discussion and open forum on the soybean industry.

The class includes representatives from 19 soybean state affiliates and the Grain Farmers of Ontario.
