USDA Releases Digital Toolkit for TPP

Dec 03, 2015

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Services (FAS) recently shared a digital toolkit to help explain how the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) can help the American agricultural industry reach more of the world's consumers. The digital toolkit is full of links, information, social media hashtags, images and other sample posts from USDA’s digital channels.

The TPP agreement would help America’s farmers tap into Asia-Pacific markets, reduce agricultural barriers in the TPP regions, create jobs within the exporting industry and strengthen the economic future of rural America.

Growers are encouraged hope to use these resources to continue the effort in spreading the word about the importance of the TPP agreement on the U.S. agricultural industry and America.

The American Soybean Association (ASA) recently led a coalition to discuss the implications of TPP and what it means for American farmers at a press event, where ASA President Wade Cowan, Brownfield, Texas, stressed that the partnership is great testament of agriculture joining forces to support each other and work together.
