WISHH Discusses Technical Training Programs During Visit at Tyson School of Poultry Science

The American Soybean Association’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) met of with staff at the University Of Arkansas to discuss short courses and technical assistance for poultry and egg producers in WISHH targeted countries.

Matt King, executive director Arkansas Soybean Board, and Jim Hershey, executive director of WISHH of met with Dr. Dustin Clark,  Dr. Samuel Rochelle and others.

Growing production of poultry around the world means increasing demand for trade in soy protein, creating opportunities for U.S. soy exports. WISHH uses national checkoff funds to leverage additional funding from USDA to do capacity building activities in countries like Burkina Faso, Cambodia and Senegal.
