ASA Chairman Danny Murphy, ASA Director Bret Davis and ASA CEO Steve Censky attended a celebration of 60 years of the flagship US food aid program, moving millions of tons of US soy products over the decades. In private remarks, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsak praised ASA as a leading commodity group that understands the nexus between international trade, development and food security. Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow also praised ASA grower leaders for helping pass the farm bill.
