The Soy Scholarship provides a $7,000 one-time award to a high school senior pursuing an agricultural degree at an accredited institution.  Managed by the American Soybean Association (ASA) and funded by BASF Corporation, this program supports the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Eligibility Requirements 

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  • Academic Status: Current high school senior planning to enroll in an agricultural program. 
  • ASA Connection: Must be the child or grandchild of an ASA member. (Note: Individuals aged 18 or older are eligible for independent membership.  Click here to join.
  • Award Distribution: The scholarship is disbursed in two $3,500 increments over the academic year. Continued funding for the second semester is contingent upon the student maintaining good academic standing and satisfactory progress toward their degree.
  • Application Process: Interested students must submit an online application during the designated filing period. Detailed information regarding the 2026-2027 scholarship cycle will be released in Fall 2026.
