The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service conducts the Census of Agriculture once every five years, and the information gleaned from the census guides agribusinesses, policy makes, researchers, local government and many other organizations on the creation and funding of ag programs and services.
This year, NASS is unveiling a new online questionnaire that will make responding to the census easier than ever before. Ag Census forms and online access codes will be mailed in late Fall 2017. Now’s the time to get familiar with the new online form and be ready to be counted and part of agriculture’s vibrant story.
