ASA DuPont Young Leaders Participate in Hill Visits, Issues Forum

ASA DuPont Young Leaders pose in front of the White House during the third phase of training held in conjunction with ASA's summer board meeting and Hill visits.

Select members of the 2017 Class of the American Soybean Association’s (ASA) DuPont Young Leader program participated in the third phase of training in Washington, D.C. last week.

The training included participation in ASA’s Board of Directors Meeting and Issues Forum, as well as Hill visits with their state delegations. Young Leaders also met with key DuPont staff including Krysta Harden, DuPont vice president, Aaron Whitesel, public policy & chief sustainability officer, along with Karis Gutter and Sara Hopper of DuPont Government Affairs.

Layne Miles (AR); Brock Willard (IL); Casey Schlichting (IA); Brett Neibling (KS); Kyle Bugg (KY); Trevore Brekken (MN); Monica McCollough (MO); Kasey Bitz (ND); Trish Levering (OH); and Tony Mellenthin (WI) participated in the training.
