Janna Fritz and her husband, Joel, reside in Bad Axe, MI, and operate their sixth-generation family farm producing soybeans, corn, wheat and dry edible beans on approximately 1,200 acres. Janna is also the president of DF Seeds, a role she started September 2022. Janna is only the third president in the company’s history and oversees a team of 6 employees, selling soybeans (including non-GMO), corn, wheat, and alfalfa in the state of Michigan.
Janna obtained a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in agriculture and natural resources communications and a master’s degree from Concordia University in organizational leadership. She is a graduate of the Michigan Agri Business Association leadership program and has served on various boards and committees, including the National Corn Growers Association, Michigan Farm Bureau, U.S. Grains Council, U.S. Soybean Export Council, Michigan FFA Foundation, and Michigan Corn Growers Association.
