Jeffrey farms with his wife, Kelli, and their three children, Avery, Sydney, and Riley, on the family farm near Morgan, Minnesota. They raise soybeans and corn on their fourth-generation farm.
Sorenson started his soybean legacy in 2011 when he joined the Redwood County Corn and Soybean Growers Association board of directors, on which he continues to serve. He was appointed to the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association in 2017. He and Kelli were ASA Corteva Young Leaders in 2020, and Jeffrey was appointed to American Soybean Association board of directors in 2023, where he is on Regulatory Committee.
Jeffrey serves on his local school board, the Redwood County Farm Bureau board, Redwood Ag Committee and other community volunteerism.
When Jeffrey isn’t farming, he enjoys traveling with his family. In the winter, you can find him enjoying the snow on a ski slope.
