John Fleming is a fifth-generation farmer near Scotland Neck, North Carolina. In 2006, he and his brother Rob formed Fleming Brothers Farms, where they currently farm 2800 acres of soybeans, cotton, peanuts, and small grains for cover crop seed.
John is a graduate of agricultural business management from NC State University with a minor in crop science. He has served on the North Carolina Soybean Association board in various roles, including president, since 2008.
John lives off the farm with his wife, Kathleen, and daughters, Molly and Carson in Tarboro, North Carolina.
