Kody Leonard is a third-generation farmer near Afton, Oklahoma, where he farms with his parents, Greg and Mary Leonard. They farm around 2,500 acres of soybeans, wheat, and corn. Leonard is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in plant and soil science. Leonard and his wife, Shelby, were members of the 39th class of the ASA/Corteva Young Leaders program. The couple lives off the farm in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They also run a small herd of registered Red Angus cattle.
