Mebane, NC
Michael McPherson is a third-generation farmer from Mebane, North Carolina. Alongside his wife, Renee, he owns and operates McPherson Farms where they grow approximately 1,000 acres of soybeans, corn, and wheat.
Michael was appointed to the American Soybean Association Board of Directors in 2026 and has served on the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association for more than 10 years. He is actively involved with the North Carolina Farm Bureau and currently serves on his county Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
McPherson Farms is proud to be a strong advocate for agriculture and is committed to keeping farming viable for generations to come. In his spare time, Michael enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends.
