Rob Baker is a fifth-generation farmer on his family farm in Leland, Mississippi. He and his father, Mac, farm 3,200 acres of corn and soybeans. Baker returned home to the farm in 2008 after finishing graduate school at Mississippi State University. In 2021, he married his wife, Katie, and they live in nearby Greenville.
In addition to the American Soybean Association, Baker serves as the Leland Chamber of Commerce president. He is an active in the Mississippi Farm Bureau and Delta Council, a regional economic development organization. Baker takes pride in serving on any board that allows him to influence legislation that works for the betterment of his farm, his industry, and his region.
When he’s not farming, Baker enjoys hunting, traveling, and following Mississippi State Bulldog athletics.
