Strathcona, MN
Jim Kukowski is a farmer from Strathcona, Minnesota, and has been on the ASA Board of Directors since 2018. He's been involved with the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association since 2008.
Jim and his wife, Marilyn, own and operate a 3,900 acre farm with 1,350 acres of soybeans, 200-plus acres of hay, and 1,350 acres of spring seed wheat.
The couple has operated a certified seed clearing plant since 2001 and has raised registered and certified seed for more than 30 years.
Since 2003, Jim has served on the NRCS State Tech Advisory group, which acts on implementation of conservation provisions in the Farm Bill.
