Late last week the EPA sent to the White House/Office of Management & Budget (OMB) the final rule establishing Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) levels for 2014. ASA understands from Administration sources, that it is still anticipated that final RFS will be announced in September.
The industry remains hopeful that ASA, state, NBB and biodiesel group efforts to make the case for significantly higher biodiesel RFS levels than originally proposed by EPA, will be successful. The industry continues to press our position with the White House.
