Don’t miss out on the opportunity to show that conservation is important to you.
2014 National and Midwest Region Winner David Ausberger and wife LeAnna, of Jefferson, Iowa, (center) accept their award from ASA President Ray Gaesser (right) and Monsanto's Mindy Whittle (left), at the 2014 Commodity Classic.
Tell the story of how conservation is a part of your farm operation and you could be one of the next regional winners of a Conservation Legacy Award. The application deadline is extended to Aug. 20, 2014. The awards recognize U.S. soybean farmers who distinguish themselves through outstanding environmental and conservation practices while farming profitably. All U.S. soybean farmers are eligible to submit an application for the Conservation Legacy Awards. Winners from three regions (Midwest, Northeast and South) each receive an expense-paid trip for two to the Commodity Classic conference and trade show, Feb. 26-28, 2015 in Phoenix, Ariz. A National Conservation Legacy Award winner is chosen from the three regional winners. In addition, the regional winners are featured in video stories and a special insert in Corn & Soybean Digest.
Entries are judged on soil management, water management, input management, farmstead protection and conservation and environmental management.
