The 30th anniversary class of the ASA DuPont Young Leaders completed their training, Feb. 25 – 28, 2014. The training took place in conjunction with the annual Commodity Classic in San Antonio, Texas.

“The DuPont Young Leader Program has helped ASA source and train upcoming leaders for 30 years,” said ASA President Ray Gaesser. “This year’s class of women and men is exceptional. We know agriculture is in good hands and are grateful for Pioneer DuPont for their commitment to the soybean industry.”

While in San Antonio, Young Leaders participated in leadership and marketing training, issues updates and discussion and were recognized at ASA’s annual awards banquet.

“We’re proud of the heritage of the ASA DuPont Young Leader Program,” said Randy Wanke, Sr. Manager Industry Relations at Pioneer. “The program has a profound impact on not only the soybean industry but all of agriculture. Former DuPont Young leaders are currently serving in leadership roles throughout the industry and we have no doubt that you’ll be seeing the members of this year’s class assuming leadership roles in the near future.”
