American Soybean Association (ASA) President Richard Wilkins, ASA Board member and U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Vice Chair Jim Miller and ASA, CEO Steve Censky participated in Unified Export Strategy planning sessions organized and led by USSEC.
International staff and consultants, industry reps and various U.S. soybean farmers discussed markets, various soy organizations' strategic plans and soy export promotion ideas. Other members of the soy family included United Soybean Board (USB), Qualified State Soybean Board (QSSB) and ASA's World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) Program. This was the third and last regional meeting; staff will now prepare regional and utilization plan budgets and strategies for grower leader review in late January.
