American Soybean Association (ASA) Chairman Ron Moore took part in the annual Ag Chairs Summit meeting of the State Agriculture and Rural Leaders in Kansas City last week, interacting with lawmakers and officials from across the U.S. and Canada. Moore had the opportunity to speak to attendees about the basics of soybean farming, and the importance of the industry’s work in the fields of sustainability and biotechnology.
As part of ASA’s ongoing work with the United Soybean Board (USB), Moore discussed how both organizations are working to reach out to stakeholders at all levels on the importance of the soybeans that are grown, how and where they are used, and how farmers are growing them more sustainably than ever.
