DuPont and ASA leaders observe Pioneer soybean field in Des Moines, Iowa this week.
ASA President Ray Gaesser and ASA staff met with DuPont Pioneer executives this week to discuss issues and programs affecting the soy industry. Topics included biotechnology approvals, trade issues, Plenish high oleic soybeans, member development, WISHH market development activities in Africa with DuPont Nutrition & Health and developing future leaders through the ASA-DuPont Young Leader program.
After the meeting, Gaesser and staff toured DuPont Pioneer's soybean research plots and were briefed on new soybean variety development and agronomic research.
