Beginning Sunday, September 15, ASA is accepting applications for the $5,000 Secure Optimal Yield (SOY) Scholarship. The SOY Scholarship for the 2014-15 school year will go to one high school senior who wishes to pursue agriculture as a degree area of study at any accredited college or university. Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a current ASA member, as well as meet other GPA and academic requirements.
The SOY Scholarship is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the BASF Corporation. For specific requirements and to apply online, please click here.
The scholarship application period runs from September 15 and November 15, 2013. The scholarship recipient will be selected in December and awarded at Commodity Classic during the ASA Awards Banquet.
