Members of the American Soybean Association (ASA) Action Partnership (ASAAP) met in Jackson Hole, Wyo. this week for discussion focused on preserving and protecting the interests of the soybean industry.

In addition to sessions on global and agricultural economics, the meeting featured discussion on pollinator habit, led by farmer leaders Wayne Fredericks, of Iowa, and Bill Gordon, of Minnesota. Jerry Bambauer, of Ohio, moderated the discussion. There was also plenty of time for additional roundtable discussions of issues impacting our industry partners and soybean farmers.

ASAAP is a collaborative effort of all soybean industry sectors with a stake in the growth and profitability of the industry. The forum provides the opportunity for ASA’s state affiliates, state and national checkoff organizations, industry partners and national grower leaders to engage in critical industry focused dialogue.

The next meeting will be held in March 2017.
