The American Soybean Association World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) presented a 50 pound bag of CHS Honeysoy defatted soy flour to the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) this week.

In November 2015, the commission approached ASA/WISHH about a research study for the Ghanaian market to formulate and test a blended gari (cassava flour) and soy flour product for use on the local market.

There are a number of producers of full-fat soyflour/gari blends being sold in local communities. The GAEC has been commissioned to study improvements of these blends with the inclusion of U.S. produced defatted soy flour.
