ASA/WISHH Program Successfully Completes Annual USDA Audit

Sep 12, 2013

The USDA Compliance, Security, and Emergency Planning Division (CSEPD) Compliance Review Branch visited the American Soybean Association (ASA) in late August to conduct its annual on-site financial and compliance review of the ASA/WISHH Program.  Expenditures reviewed included the Market Access Program (MAP), Foreign Development Cooperator Program (FMD), Emerging Markets Program (EMP) Quality Samples Program (QSP), and Cochran Program funding.

CSEPD reviewed more than $1.4 million in expenditures that resulted in a zero finding audit for the ASA/WISHH Program.  The Audit results confirmed that ASA/WISHH fulfilled its financial and administrative responsibilities under the programs; claimed authorized and reasonable program expenses; and; claimed allowable and properly documented contributions.
