ASA/WISHH Staff and Committee Meet in Washington, D.C.

This week, the American Soybean Association’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) program staff and directors are in Washington, D.C. for a series of meetings. Fifteen grower leaders attended the meeting, in addition to ASA/WISHH staff, contractors and USSEC representative Marypat Corbett.

ASA/WISHH staff presented updates on projects happening throughout numerous countries in Central America, Africa and Asia, and also discussed future plans for programming for 2014. In addition to staff updates, the Executive Committee and each sub-committee presented on areas such as finances, communications, and administrative updates.

The next meeting will be in July, where an election for at-large committee members will take place.
