Celebrate Soy Leaders with Food, Stories from American Farmers

Feb 01, 2018

If you’re attending Commodity Classic this year, don’t miss out on a night of celebrating soy leaders with dinner, awards and a look at rural America through one award-winning photographer’s lens.

Join the American Soybean Association (ASA) for the annual ASA Awards Banquet during Commodity Classic on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., with a cocktail hour starting at 5 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. In a special presentation, photographer and author Paul Mobley will tell stories from his book American Farmer: The Heart of Our Country, featuring some of the photos collected during his three years of travel documenting the life of farmers and ranchers across America.

The annual event brings together state affiliates and ASA members from across the country to recognize and celebrate the successes, accomplishments and education of the many farmer-leaders, soybean associations and industry representatives who have done outstanding work to benefit U.S. soybean farmers and the soybean industry. Awards are presented to honor achievements by volunteers, leaders and farmers for leadership building, conservation stewardship and industry accomplishments and support.

The banquet’s premier sponsors are DuPont Pioneer, John Deere and United Soybean Board/Soy Checkoff.  Additional sponsors include Monsanto BioAg; Illinois Soybean Association; Kentucky Soybean Board; North Dakota Soybean Council; and Tennessee Soybean Promotion Council.

Tickets for this popular event are sold out at this time. Please check onsite at the Commodity Classic Registration Desk for any available banquet tickets.
