Charles Lauzon of Malnutrition Matters explains the setup of the Soy Dairy equipment to Food Research Institute staff in Accra, Ghana.

ASA/WISHH is helping bring soy dairy training to Ghana.

Malnutrition Matters engineer Charles Lauzon visited Ghana to install three soy dairy systems at locations in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale. Lauzon performed the initial installation of the equipment at each site, then provided detailed training to each of the recipients on system operations. Additionally, National Soybean Research Lab (NSRL) International Program Coordinator Dr. Marilyn Nash traveled to each site and monitored progress on the SIL program for the University of Illinois.

The program falls under the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Soy Innovations Laboratory (SIL), awarded to the University of Illinois and subcontracted to ASA/WISHH.
