The World Soy Foundation’s Youth We Feed Can Lead project was an innovative project implemented in the summer of 2014 at a Guatemalan school. It combined low-cost video production equipment and training as tools to educate youth to become agents of change in their communities.
Karen Edwards of KCE Public Affairs was a WSF Advisor on the project and traveled to Guatemala to manage the implementation process.
Karen wrote of her experience with the project, and her story was featured on the Global Harvest Initiative blog over the past few weeks. Global Harvest Initiative (GHI) is a “private-sector voice for productivity growth throughout the agricultural value chain to sustainably meet the demands of a growing world.”
The WSF would like to send a special thanks to GHI and Karen for sharing the story of the impact the WSF’s Youth We Feed Can Lead project had on this Guatemalan community!
Check out the story on GHI’s website here.
