ASA still needs your help getting members of the U.S. House of Representatives to sign onto the biodiesel letter being circulated by Rep.
Tom Latham (R-IA) and Rep. Mike McIntyre (D-NC). The letter, which can be viewed here, calls on the Obama Administration to support a biomass-based diesel volume of at least 1.7 billion gallons for the EPA’s 2014 RFS proposal. We ask you to contact your Representatives and urge them to sign on. There are a lot of House members from soybean heavy districts that are not yet on the letter. The deadline to sign-on has been extended to this Friday, December 13th, and we urge you to reach out as soon as possible. If you have any questions please contact Tom Hance in ASA’s Washington office at 202-969-7040.
