This week, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to move the farm bill to conference and named its conferees—AKA the committee members who will hash out the differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill.
Who was appointed?
House Republican Conferees
House Agriculture Committee
House Education and the Workforce Committee
House Energy and Commerce Committee
House Financial Services Committee
House Foreign Affairs Committee
House Natural Resources Committee
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee
House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Conferees

What’s next?
Now the Senate must vote to go to conference and name its conferees, as well. The current farm bill expires at the end of September.
