ASA is currently offering a $5,000 scholarship to one high school senior who wishes to pursue agriculture as a degree at any accredited college or university. The Secure Optimal Yield (SOY) scholarship is for the 2014/2015 school year, and applicants must be the child or grandchild of a current ASA member, as well as meet other GPA and academic requirements.
The SOY Scholarship is sponsored by BASF Corporation, and the last day to apply is by midnight on Nov. 15, 2013.
The scholarship recipient will be selected in December and awarded at Commodity Classic during the ASA Awards Banquet.
