Fifteen Board members of ASA's state affiliates will descend on Minneapolis next week for ASA and Syngenta’s Leadership At Its Best program. Part 1 of the program begins Monday, Aug. 5 and concludes Thursday, Aug. 8 with a joint dinner with National Corn Growers Association and Syngenta representatives. Participants will continue with Part 2 in July in Washington D.C. in conjunction with the ASA March board meeting.
Leadership At Its Best is an advanced leadership, communication, agricultural issues and media training program designed to provide leaders with skills that enable effective interactions with Congress. State-level soybean industry leaders will obtain the necessary communication skills to make a difference in American agriculture while advancing into leadership positions on a national level.
