"Depending on environmental conditions, insect pressure in soybean fields varies each year," said Syngenta Agronomic Service Representative Troy Griess. "Since heavy insect presence can put both soybean health and yield in jeopardy, it’s important for growers to actively prepare and scout for pests to minimize damage and preserve yield potential. When insect populations reach economic thresholds, insecticide applications may be necessary."
