Have You Received a Survey Invite From ASA?

May 15, 2014

The American Soybean Association (ASA) has been doing survey work with key groups as part of the process of developing a new multi-year strategic plan, and ASA farmer leaders are strongly encouraging your response if you have received an online survey invite.

“We are asking for input from all levels of interaction with ASA – members, the board of directors, state soybean association presidents and executives, industry partners and ASA staff,” said Steve Wellman, Chair of the ASA Strategic Planning Committee. “We want feedback on existing ASA structures and services, as well as thoughts about what ASA needs to consider for the future.”

Client First Associates, Inc. is conducting the survey work and completing an environmental scan to gather information to assist ASA with the strategic planning process.

“I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for everyone who received an ASA survey invite to complete the survey,” said Ray Gaesser, President of ASA. “Gathering comments and ideas from our key constituencies is vital to the process of effectively planning the association’s future direction.”

The Strategic Planning Committee is scheduled to meet in July to consider all that has been learned from the survey work and environmental scan. Development will continue in coming months with a goal of completing a new ASA strategic plan by the end of 2014 or early 2015.
