Show #foodthanks, Help Those Less Fortunate This Holiday Season

Nov 15, 2013

It's that time of year again. Charleston|Orwig is teaming up with The AgChat Foundation on the fourth annual #foodthanks social media campaign to collectively show appreciation for wholesome food and those who provide it. Whether your favorite social media channel is Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or another, all uses of the hashtag will stream to foodthanks.comSayingThanks

With the site launch on Nov.11, the organizations are committed as ever to tweeting, posting and pinning about why we're thankful.

But this year they also encourage everyone involved in food—farmers, processors, retailers, restaurants, chefs, food bloggers, consumers—to help those less fortunate enjoy wholesome food this holiday season.

Starting Nov. 18, pledge to donate a bag of food to your local food bank on foodthanks.com and you'll receive a #foodthanks reusable grocery tote.

Show your #foodthanks and add your voice to the mix of farmers, chefs, foodies, bloggers and anyone who eats.
