State staff headed to D.C. this week to talk soybean policy issues, mid-term elections and collaboration.
ASA hosted the first State Policy Communications Boot Camp to bring together national and state communicators to further relationships while building on policy knowledge and exploring how we as an association communicate about key policy issues like trade and tariffs, farm bill, biotechnology and more.
Participants also had the opportunity to visit with House and Senate Ag Committee staff on the Hill.
The boot camp allowed ASA and state affiliates the opportunity to discuss policy communications and collaboration at the national and state level.
