Syngenta Obtains Non-Exclusive License for CRISPR-Cas9 Genome-Editing

Syngenta announced that they now have received a non-exclusive license from the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard for CRISPR-Cas9 genome-editing in agriculture. This tool, expected to be used in soy and other crops, allows targeted and precise changes to improve crop varieties, including through plant breeding innovations which is an evolution of traditional breeding methods.
