Two deliveries of 36 tons each have arrived in the Port of Abidjan, Ivory Coast this month, part of a consignment purchased by the Government of the Cote d’Ivoire for their school feeding program. This export from ADM, Decatur, Illinois is the culmination of ASA/WISHH market development efforts funded by USDA and QSSBs, including a Quality Samples Program, technical assistance on site and training at the National Soybean Research Lab, University of Illinois.

The total order has an estimated value of close to $300,000. U.S. Ambassador to the Cote d’Ivoire, Terence P. McCulley, thanked the director of the school nutrition program for their commerce with the U.S.A. during a meeting at the Ministry of Education.
