The American Soybean Association/World Initiative for Soy and Human Health (ASA/WISHH) held meetings in Ghana this week to discuss activities in Ghana and the surrounding region and coordinate efforts on the upcoming Global Broad Based Initiative (GBI) conference.

The GBI conference, scheduled to be held in Accra in early September, will focus on capacity building activities in both the nutrition and food technology sectors.

ASA/WISHH Director – Africa Division Erica Morrow participated in meetings with local partners and representatives from the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service. In conjunction with ASA/WISHH Regional Director for Africa Josh Neiderman, the newly opened ASA/WISHH office played host to Agriculture Attaché Ryan Scott as well as Zesty Knowledge Advertising Ghana.
