WISHH is partnering with Aquaculture Africa Magazine (AAM) to deliver a series of free webinars and trainings for Africa’s aquaculture industry in March and April. The partnership includes 17 webinars, 17 feature sessions highlighting news and trends in Africa’s academic research institutions, and four dedicated training sessions that will include input from the WISHH team. The training topics are varied and cover issues such as farm management, fish health and feed production. Aquaculture leaders from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, South Africa and Malawi are among the country representatives expected to participate.
WISHH’s partnership with AAM comes from a shared desire to provide high-quality, virtual training to Africa’s aquaculture industry even while COVID-19 travel restrictions are in place. AAM has successfully developed a strong network of aquaculture professionals over the past year, attracting approximately 500 participants to each of its webinars. Anyone is welcome to participate in the webinars. Visit AAM’s Facebook page or below to register.
