WISHH Presents 2016 Opportunities to Michigan Soybean

Jun 17, 2015

The American Soybean Association/World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISH) program presented 2016 funding opportunities to the Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee this week.

Michigan is one of 18 QSSBs that fund WISHH's market development efforts. WISHH Executive director Jim Hershey took time to thank Chairman Andy Welden for his service to the WISHH Committee which he’s served for six years and chaired for the past year. In addition to supporting WISHH operations, Michigan has funded activities in Latin America and in Africa. WISHH supply-chain partners in Africa imported more than 1,000 metric tons of value added soy proteins in 2014.
